Meet The Founder

Some stories begin with a dream. Mine began with a deep admiration for the hands that create.
I'm Supriya Jain, the founder of Zariya, based in Punjab. I graduated with a B.A. (Honours) in Fashion Design from Pearl Academy of Fashion, where I developed not only a love for design but also a profound respect for craftsmanship and the stories woven into every textile.
Travelling has shaped the way I see the world. I love discovering unfamiliar places, meeting people, and immersing myself in cultures that carry generations of tradition. Those experiences constantly inspire the way I design and the stories I choose to tell through Zariya.
The name Zariya, meaning a way or a medium, reflects exactly what I hope this brand becomes—a bridge between skilled artisans and those who value thoughtful, handcrafted design. Each collection celebrates slow craftsmanship, intricate embroidery, and the beauty of imperfections that only human hands can create.
I'm a maximalist in every sense of the word. I find joy in bold colours, striking textures, handcrafted details, and pieces that make a statement without saying a word. I've never believed in blending in—I believe in celebrating individuality.
Zariya was born from a desire to create something meaningful. Not just beautiful garments, but pieces that honour the hands behind them, preserve traditional craftsmanship, and give a voice to India's lesser-known artisan communities.
For me, every collection is a journey—one that brings together heritage and contemporary design, craftsmanship and creativity, tradition and self-expression.
